Maranda Vomund grew up the oldest of four in Alamo, California. Maranda has been riding since she was 5 years old. She spent her summers at camp and this is where she developed the obsession for everything horse. Maranda later became a riding instructor at the same camp she was a camper at. Maranda graduated from Colorado State University and carries a degree in Equines Science.
During Maranda’s sophomore year she fell in love, with her Quarter Horse mare, Beanie that came out of the colt starting class. After that Maranda and Beanie joined the Ranch Horse Team and today they continue to compete in Ranch Versatility.
Maranda joined Spirit Heart Ranch in February 2016. Maranda does an amazing job caring for the horses and is certified in beginning and advanced equine first aide. Maranda has serious goals to run her own barn in the future.
